ABOUT ME
My name's Josh Beaver, I'm a Personal Trainer and I own and run Eat Train Sleep Geraldton.
As a health and fitness professional, I take pride in motivating others to achieve their goals and to learn to live a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
The main reason I became a Personal Trainer is because I truly want to help people that actually need help, not just those who can afford the luxury of a PT. I saw the need for a trainer that was within everyone's price range but had the knowledge and the value of much more than he charged.
Whether you are new to exercise, struggling with niggling injuries or even a seasoned gym rat, I have a large variety of exercise equipment such as Kettlebells, Slam balls, Boxing, Agility Equipment, Resistance Bands, Flexi-Bars, Battle Ropes, Tyres, TRX Straps and much more will have you SMASHING your fitness goals!
I created events such as the FREE 100 Day Fitness Challenge, The 8 Week Fat Blaster Challenge, Fun Fitness Bootcamps, Beginner Bootcamps, Winter Warrior Workouts because I saw an opportunity to do some unique, different stuff that Geraldton hadn't seen before. All my sessions have plenty of original ideas, tonnes of equipment and a non threatening environment for exercisers to work hard but not feel intimidated while exercising.
No matter what stage in life you are currently in there is some session that I run or service that I provide which can help you.
It's really a chance to change your life and not cost you an arm and a leg in the process!
QUALIFICATIONS
Here are my qualifications and some of the courses I have completed or are involved with.

I completed my Personal Trainer qualifications with the Australian Institute of Fitness in October 2013.

Since 2014 I have been involved with H.B.F. Outdoor Fitness Geraldton as a either a support trainer or lead trainer. Currently I am the lead trainer which has been a great and truly rewarding experience helping the community.
Being a trainer with H.B.F. has helped develop the skills needed to train large numbers of participants with varying fitness levels, different health issues and injuries.

I have a Master Rehab Trainer certification which sets me apart from other Personal Trainers because I can identify potential problems before they actually develop into a real problem that affects your everyday life, not just your workout.
I always incorporate Functional Movement Training, Activation Drills and Rehab Exercises into my sessions to help strengthen areas that are often neglected by "average" Personal Trainers.
These strategies help you get fit and safely reach your goals.
I am also an accredited recreational running coach.
This combination of skills allows me to combine my rehab and running skill knowledge to apply stratergies to help you stay safe while running which will get you fit fast and lose weight safely.
