

LOSE WEIGHT & HAVE FUN RUNNING!
I have decided to start this running squad for all the recreational runners out there who may just want to lose some weight or get fit and the gym isn't really their thing.
Maybe you want to take part in something like the Geraldton Harriers RunFest & Marathon or HBF Run 4 A Reason fun run in the future but your goal is just to enjoy the run and finish without hurting yourself. NOT compete for 1st place!
WHY WOULD I PAY TO RUN??
Well obviously you could just lace up the old running shoes and step outside and just go for a run. Nothing is stopping you ... BUT what makes this different is you're session is run by a running Athletics Coach...me!
You will learn how to run properly, you'll be part of a group of fun people, the running itself is fun and competitive at the same time.
With my special training I can spot the little problems with your running technique which will allow me to correct these minor issues before they become a problem so you can reach your running goals.

HERE'S THE RUN DOWN ON THE
RUNNING SESSIONS
Sessions are designed towards the beginner/intermediate runner who is looking to lose weight or push their fitness to a new level while having fun!
Each session no one will be made to feel like the group is waiting for them. No matter how fast or slow you are I will make sure you get the best out of yourself.
JULY SESSIONS (Learn to Run)

SUNDAY at 4.00pm - Athletics Track (Intervals/Repeats)
This session will be mixed between intervals (speed up and down) distance repeat runs or longer slower easy-paced runs (walk if you need).

THURSDAY at 5.30pm - Apex Park (Hills & Drills)
This session focuses on Drills, Technique, shorter and longer Hill Runs and short distance Speedwork.
FRIDAY at 5.30pm - Posh/Yacht Club (Run Hybrid)
This session combines running specific exercises/core exercises with various different styles and distances of running.

SESSIONS ARE FOR BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE FITNESS LEVELS!

To join in all you have to do is SIGN UP BELOW, bring a water bottle, towel and be ready to sweat your butt off!
You will be able to make new friends, learn how to run safely, satisfy your competitve side a little bit and most importantly ask me the PT questions about all things running/fitness related.
You will be able to follow the sessions either through Facebook in the events section of EAT TRAIN SLEEP GERALDTON which will have the most up to date information or via weekly emails.
