MOVEMENT SCREENING - $50
The perfect start to your Fitness journey.
This service can be a once off service or used in conjunction with other services I provide like - PT or any of the Group Fitness sessions.
The movements in the Movement Screen have been selected to address the following key concepts of movements and movement patterns performed in exercise settings such as pushing, pulling, squatting, lunging, bending, twisting, and stepping.
Movement capacities such as stability, mobility, symmetry, balance & strength are represented across the main movement patterns.
All large joint complexes can be analysed for movement capacities.
This is all compiled into a DETAILED REPORT that you take home.
POSTURAL ANALYSIS/INJURY RISK SCREENING - $25
As personal trainers we need to ensure that the exercises and programs we set are safe, effective, reflect the needs/goals of you - our clients.
An essential part of Personal Training and the initial consultation is conducting a Movement Screening. If you don't have the time or money for that then this is the shorter, cheaper mini version of doing a Movement Screening.
Performing the Postural Analysis & Injury Risk Screening I get to see what possible road blocks may be ahead in the future - postural abnormalities, weak muscles, lack of flexibility or mobility.
It gives insight into the way a client habitually positions themselves.
Eg; Consistent loading of a poor postural position leaves you more open to injury and can establish a pattern of movement that is hard to break.
This will hurt your chances to train or perform to your maximum potential.
NUTRITIONAL CHECK UP - $20
Feel like you know what's going on with the physical side of fitness but aren't sure if you're eating the right things?? This could be for you!
Online or home visits. I will sit down and look at your general eating habits, your knowledge of food, if you know what you consume on a daily basis.
In home visits will also look at what's in the fridge and pantry to see what your habits are and what sort of food switches we may be able to do to improve your diet.
Legally without a degree I can't give out meal plans but with this service you can learn about foods and how they can be used to fuel your goals.
With this service you will never need a meal plan again!
GYM PROGRAMMING - $20
The difference between a PT session and a gym program is simple-
PT sessions are always different; They challenge you in new ways each time.
A gym program is a plan that is recurring; That is based on using the same movements and slowly progressing over time - known as progressive overload.
To make strides in the gym you need a program you can stick too, that is relevant to your current fitness level/abilities.
You need to work hard to gradually increase the workload over time.
As a Personal Trainer my job is to ensure the programs I set are safe, simple, effective and reflect the needs and goals of my clients.
RUNNING PROGRAM - $20
